Gabriel Lee

Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket
I must admit. Spring is probably my least favourite season. However, if I had all of these pieces from Gabriel Lee's collection in my wardrobe, I would probably be more eager for spring to come sooner. When I received an invite to Gabriel Lee's showroom to view the 2012/2013 Spring Summer Collection which is part of the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, I got really excited because the pieces are simply beautiful and also because after looking through all the posts on MBFW by bloggers in the East, you start to feel a little left out. Alas, the excitement did not last long. As much as I want to, there is no way I am flying out to Sydney so I'm stuck in Perth. I guess I'll just have to live vicariously through the photos of those lucky enough to be able to make it to MBFW!

  2. I really like spring. I find fashion follows with the weather, so with spring, we all emerge out of our cocoons of knitwear and bring out loads of colour, and embrace how the world is changing around us..all reflected through fashion! At the moment, floral crowns which to me represent new birth, are all the rage at the moment... and they are simply perfect!

  3. I don't wear a lot of tailored items, but there's bits and bites that I loved about these photos. :) The blouses and skirts, definitely..

About your questions (thank you thank you sweetheart for the comments !^^)
I haven't dyed my hair in such a long time, so the natural coloured roots are definitely starting to show (light brown or something) and there ends are more mahogany /copper brown. I'm trying to get rid of the redness at the moment, maybe turn the hair even lighter. But first I want my hair to grow & original colour to show more before making anything huge. Over-colouring doesn't make good to hair.

And about the food around here, there are of course as various price ranges as there's places to eat. You can get nice meal for 15-20 euros, at some places even cheaper. But if we want to go out with my boyfriend, our meal is about 50 (total). Pizzas and kebabs are 6-10 eur, here's many foreign business owners and I often buy their food which tastes better than finnish pizza companys stuff! :D When I ordered food home with my friend yesterday, total amount was 22. If I would have made the same order to armenian / turkish company, those pizzas would have been 15 - and tasted twice as much better.. (1 euro is something like 1,28 australian dollars)

  4. Oh WOW, these looks are amazing! I'm increasingly drawn to the tailored aesthetic (maybe it's because everyone keeps telling me I'm going to be a doctor next year?) and the first and last outfits are literally my ideas of perfection. SO EXQUISITE. I feel so delighted to have stumbled upon this designer so thank you so incredibly much for sharing! I've saved this under my inspiration folder because I seriously cannot seem to remove my eyes from the screen haaha.

Such a shame you couldn't make it to Sydney but I must agree that the sojourn from Perth is quite a trek haha. You must be so flattered by the invitation nonetheless! :)

And whilst I can't believe you don't like spring, I find it funny that I can actually relate to you! Sartorially, anyway. ;) I think I've always been such an avid fan of winter clothing that when spring comes, it all feels a little anti-climactic hahaha.
